RAWR Shop- Simply FIERCE

Oh HEY lovers!!!!
Ever have one of those days when you just want something simple, but don't want to be boring?
Despite my need to be obnoxious at all times, believe it or not, I too feel that way...sometimes...
^_^

Today I have something very simple for you at the RAWR shop!
Kira came back to see me yesterday, and it was everything I thought it would be: GLORIOUS!

For this mani, we used:

Color Club- Master of Disguise
Essie- Snap Happy

Oh yes, the accent fingers.....
I raided my local drug store, and hoarded a bunch of KISS Nail Artist studs a while ago...
The lady at the checkout thought I was nuts...But it was on sale!!!!

After painting her nails black I just HAD to finish it up with the red....It felt right at the time and I'm extremely happy with the outcome! I know these Louboutin nails have been around forever...but I finally got to try it....and yup, I LIKE IT! I LIKE IT A LOT!

I'm so glad that Kira embraces my weird....
I'm really digging the tapered squares, and the studs make the accent nails SO MANY FIERCES!!!
Plus I mean...she wears it so well!!!

Well that's it for me today!
Hope you enjoyed this mani as much as I did doing them!

Have a FANTABULOUS day, my lovelies!

'Tis the Season

HELLO my loves! Happy Christmas Eve!
I'm usually not the one to do festive manis, but it's been a while since I last posted so it's happening!
It's going to be a short one today, because there are tons of shopping I still have to do...
-____-

For this mani, I used Essie's 2012 Winter Collection:
Beyond Cozy and Snap Happy
They are both so amazing; formula and application-wise! So if you come across any of their Winter Collection, be sure to snag one.You will not regret!

I just want to take the time to thank everyone for the continuing love and support.
I know I haven't exactly been on it with blogging, but just know that I think of you everyday
<3

Hope you all have a fabulous Christmas.
...and now I shall go and stuff my face!!!

Have a wonderful day you lovely bunch of coconuts!

Transitioning into Autumn with Essie's Penny Talk

LONG TIME NO SEE!!
I was gone for a whole entire week, tell me you missed me!

I was sick all last week, so I focused on getting better!
This week, I'm back feeling MUCH healthier...

I'm sad to inform you that Summer is officially over...well at least here in Vancouver it is.
It's dark in the morning when I wake up, and I'm ready to slip into my scarf and sweater.
So today, I've decided to do an Autumn mani using Essie's Penny Talk.

From the Mirrored Metallics Collection, Penny Talk is perhaps the nicest metallic finish I've ever encountered...
It applies smoothly, dries to literally a mirrored finish.... almost like brushed metal.
I do have to say though, I prefer this polish without a topcoat.
The mirror effect gets lost when you slap on the clear topcoat for some reason.

My favourite is my stupid finger....(pointing finger)
The birds make me happy :)

I'm pretty obsessed with this colour....okay fine, I like this whole entire collection.
I may or may not want to pick up the rest....

PS.
I know I've been doing the countdown for a while now....but.....
TODAY IS MY FIRST NAIL SCHOOL DAY!!!!!
I was so excited about the first day of school, I had trouble sleeping last night...
What am I, 7?

...yes...

Wish me luck!
Have a good day, my lovelies :D

Geometric Gradient Lines

*SHOCK*
Blasphemy! My FURRS Nails are gone?!
Yea...I had to get them taken off,
because the image of setting up a tent with my stiletto nails makes me cringe...lol can you imagine?!

So back to Breakfast Sausage Fingers it is....but look, they're longer now!!
...and so I've decided that....Project GROW LONG NAILS is now in effect.

To achieve today's look, I used the following items:

XXI Love & Beauty- Imperial Blue
Essie- Playa Del Platinum

I picked up these polishes on my camping trip....
WHAT?! You didn't think I'd come back empty handed did you? LOL

and this brush from the new brush set I got from ebay!

First I did a gradient with the two polishes...
ESSIE's Playa Del Platinum is such a perfect beige....This is my first Essie polish ever....
(what took me so long? I'm a newb okay?)
and I gotta say....It's pretty awesome! It applies smoothly, and it's opaque in 2 coats.
This gradient is so pretty, I'll definitely be wearing it again on its own.

Hope you enjoy today's mani...
I miss my long nails already *ugly crying face*

Have a wonderful day, my loves!
