HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Within minutes of knowing me, you would quickly learn that I am an UBER random person.

What does that mean? I'm all over the place.

This mani is no different.

I've been wearing obnoxious highlighter colours ALL WEEK! Be proud of me!

The base is Color Club's Electro Candy....it's so obnoxious...and SO AWESOME!

I know I shouldn't pick favourites....but I like the design on my thumb the most...

I do believe I will do another mani with this particular design :D

I still don't feel like I'm fully back from my BLAHS....

I really do miss my talons :(

But hey! Project GROW LONG NAILS is coming along nicely! Have you noticed?

This is probably the longest my real nails have ever been....

80's Dance Party

Wet n Wild- I Need A Refresh-Mint

They're so awesome together! I'm so glad the new WnW polishes changed their brushes....

It's wider and applies perfectly...unlike the old ones -___-

I MAY OR MAY NOT have been shouting out Patti Labelle's New Attitude off the top of my lungs throughout the whole mani... don't judge me

I decided to do a nude accent nail because....my mom says I'm special.

KIDDING! 

Steph from Haus Of Lacquer did these a while ago...and immediately I fell in love with the concept!

Zara Inspired- Navajo Print Mani

Hello beauty people!

If you follow me on Twitter you would have perhaps saw my tweet about this...

I was browsing the Zara website yesterday and saw THIS shirt

Then I immediately decided that I needed it in my life. And then match my nails to it when I get home!!!

But of course, with it being on sale for $12, it was gone by the time I got to the store :(

*ugly crying face*

But that's okay, I'll still do the mani!

For this look, I used the following items:

Color Club- Wild Child

Zoya- Pippa

OPI- Did You Ear About Van Gough?

and red acrylic paint

So what do you think? Did I pull it off??

Ever since I got the claws taken off, I've been experiencing nail fails and blog blahs...

You know...the feeling when you're just not in love with ANYTHING?? Yea...

I knew it was going to happen. It's amazing what enhancements could do to you inspiration-wise.

But thanks to you guys with your super luvin'....I'm slowly feeling the fails and blahs fading away :D

Neon Keyboard

Hello lovelies!

Today I have a fun mani to show you. I've been wanting to try this one out for a while now...so now is the time!

I used Urban Outfitter's Bandeau for this mani and acrylic paint for the rest.

Bandeau is such a fun and obnoxiously (in a good way) bright purple....I LOVE IT! It took a couple of coats for it to become completely opaque...but I didn't care!!

If I ever get a keyboard, I'd want it to be florescent purple! and then become a RAWKSTAR!

...and maybe I'll learn how to play to piano eventually...

I hope you enjoyed today's mani as much as I did doing it!

*Life Update*

Well....I didn't make the band I tried out for...a little bit disappointing....

BUT I sure have some awesome friends who picked me right back up! ONTO THE NEXT ONE, I SAY!

Quick post for me today!

Yesterday I went to an audition for a band...

I was a nervous wreck....to the point I had NO idea what to do for my nails...

Then I thought I needed courage, so I brought the RAWR with me to the audition:

After Dani @ Call It Beauty calmed my nerves... I went in there, and I gave them ALL I got!

Then on my drive home I got sick of these leopard prints...because too much of a good thing is...too much lol

*RAWRRRRR*

So I changed them to dots...STILL not in love with them but it got me through an audition.

:D

Geometric Gradient Lines

*SHOCK*

Blasphemy! My FURRS Nails are gone?!

Yea...I had to get them taken off, 

because the image of setting up a tent with my stiletto nails makes me cringe...lol can you imagine?!

So back to Breakfast Sausage Fingers it is....but look, they're longer now!!

...and so I've decided that....Project GROW LONG NAILS is now in effect.

To achieve today's look, I used the following items:

XXI Love & Beauty- Imperial Blue

Essie- Playa Del Platinum

I picked up these polishes on my camping trip....

WHAT?! You didn't think I'd come back empty handed did you? LOL

and this brush from the new brush set I got from ebay!

First I did a gradient with the two polishes...

ESSIE's Playa Del Platinum is such a perfect beige....This is my first Essie polish ever....

(what took me so long? I'm a newb okay?)

and I gotta say....It's pretty awesome! It applies smoothly, and it's opaque in 2 coats.

This gradient is so pretty, I'll definitely be wearing it again on its own.

RAWR Shop- Sisterly Love

I'M BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!

Camping was fun...but doing nails is funner. (yes, I just used that word)

Today I have a two-fer for you! The very adorable sisters Donna and Carol Ann.

Carol Ann's eyes were immediately drawn to the neon brights. PERFECT for summer.

So we used Color Club's Warhol and Age of Aquarius, added on some zebra prints with a black nail art polish, and finished off with China Glaze's Fairy Dust.

That combo right there is MAGIC I tell you!

Carol Ann had a few quotables from yesterday's visit that made my heart feel good...

She was so cute. Can't wait to do more art on these tiny nails again!

Next up, we have Donna!!

She's amazing. That is all.

Donna's searched high and low for OPI's Brisbane Bronze, but no luck!

So she asked me to pick it up for her when I visit my nail heaven...

THERE IT WAS!!

Look at this beautiful bronze! 

It's subtle enough to wear it in an office environment, yet it brings just enough party with the shimmers.

Donna came in with no expectation...and because this was SUCH a gorgeous bronze, I didn't want to do too much to cover that up. 

So I mixed up a creamy light brown mixture with my acrylic paint, and did up some FURRS tribal prints on half her nails!!

VOILA! All done!
